Anyone know where I can get replacement rubber quick draw retainers on-line (not the petzl 'string retainers' but the other sort (similar to the ones that go on the wild country quickdraws).

Have tried uncle google and some of the bigger on-line stores but without luck.

I heard that bull castration rings work, in case that is any help! Not sure where my local bull castration ring shop is though...

Try either World of Castration Rings, or Castration-Rings-R-Us (he suggests, helpfully)

The ones they use to dock tails on lambs look just like o-rings but are not pink - I just liked the pink ones.

I think you can buy the wild country ones. Pretty sure I saw them a while ago but can't remember where

Do you actually need them?

If yes then O-rings from ebay or your local plumber's merchant will work fine.

I would leave them off I were you. They were the cause of some serious accidents (the news item will be on here somewhere) and don't really serve any purpose.

Retainers for up to 10mm Dyneema slings. Careful how you use them as show in the like above.
