I have a pair of Scarpa Mountain Guide Boots bought 5-6 years ago. Great boots but I have managed to pull one side of the zipper (the bit that goes up and down) off the actual zip itself. There is a plastic blob at the top of the zip to stop this happening but it seems to have gone through the zipper, presumably because I was pulling too hard.
Despite spending ages with a couple of pairs of pliers I cannot get the zipper back on the zip. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, any suggestions?
