Off to Scotland next week for a spot of winter mountaineering. Can't decide which boot to take - La Sportiva Trango Alp GTX or Nepals. Used the Trangos in the Alps but not in Scotland. My concearn in they won't be warm enough.
Anyone had any experience of the Trangos in winter conditions? Are they warm enough or should I stick to my trusty Nepals?
In reply to Malpractise: The obvious answer is both.
The biggest downside to Nepals is that once they do get wet they can take ages to dry out. As such having the Trangos as a fall back would be a good move.
