So after reading lots and lots of opinions on wether you should reproof Rab VR or not, I’ve decided to just WASH it and not proof it.
Ive just used the Tech-Wash on my hard shells and they came up wonderfully. So will this be ok to use on the VR?
For clarity, this is just to wash the jacket and not re-proof it. I’ve never found them to be THAT water-repellent anyways
Tech wash is fine for washing vapor rise. If you want to re-jazz the water repellency use a spray-on proofer rather than a wash-in.

Agreed. If you proof the VR liner, you'll end up with something like Paramo's liner, only working in reverse...
