Can anyone recommend some decent mountaineering boots that are women specific or come in women's sizes and that keep feet genuinely warm? Also, ideally they should be quite light. I have raynauds so keeping my toes warm is always a challenge. I'm not going to be doing any serious scrambles this winter, just hillwalking in the snow. I am planning a walk up Ben Nevis in a few weeks. I want to know the boots are going to keep my feet warm and can fit a crampon suitable for moderately snowy and icy conditions. I have my winter hiking boots as a back up if the conditions end up milder unless someone can recommend a boot that is still suitable even if the snow doesn't materialise?
