There appears to be a problem on Lambert Lane, and the YDNP have made a closure notice for a section of this route.
Here's the first notice (dated 26 Sept 2022): https://www.yorkshiredales.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/13/2022/09/Notice-Plan-TempClosure-Notice-BW7-Settle.pdf and there's a subsequent one dated 13 Oct 2022 (couldn't find it online - yet).
Thought I'd share this, as it's quite a popular route with walkers and cyclists and riders (it's Pennine Bridleway), and there might be a hazard and closure. I've not been up there recently so I don't know what it's like.
