Hi guys,

I know this is not strictly uk. But I am looking to do a walking trip in Europe this summer.

Prob 3 days of hiking. Happy to camp/wild camp. Doesn't matter how long it takes to get there just that the whole trip is less than £400 for one person

It would be early July so options may be limited as things already booked.

Preferably beautiful rolling terrain as I am training for.the south South downs 100km end of August.

Also it will be my first time doing a multi day hiking trip on my own.

Recommendations?

Thanks,

Daniel

Why don’t you just do the South Downs 100lk as a training run split into several days, then reverse it? Save a few hundred quid?

One of the French long distance paths? Corsica springs to mind.

Somewhere like Tegernsee, bavarian alps, basically the alpine foothills, you have to camp discreetly but I never had an issue. Loads of trails to hike. 1500m peaks. Flight to munich and public transport there.

A really easy one is just walk the TMB until you need to get transport back. So much to do around Chamonix and so easy to get to with flights and shuttles.
