After two weekends of hard work by a number of volunteers, the toilet at Corrour Bothy in the Cairngorms, has now been reopened after a complete redesign and rebuild of the inside of the toilet annexe.
Many thanks to all involved.
Neil Reid (aka cairngormwanderer) has a good write-up on his blog about the recent work. It's at https://cairngormwanderer.wordpress.com/2018/09/11/new-toilets-for-corrour/
Was there an inaugural..use? Breaking some tape over the drop?
d'oh - re my earlier post I just looked at your profile and noticed you have a more than passing resemblance to that cairngormwanderer guy...
There was indeed an inaugural use - and the guy who inaugurated while someone else was still working below (the bag was there, it wasn't completely gross-out) wasn't the most popular! :D
No worries - thanks for posting the link. I hadn't written that when I put up the original post.
I for one am disappointed by the absence of a "jobbie" based joke on this thread.
But it looks like you have done a great one!
