Going to Glasgow for a weekend and would like some directions to a walk encompassing a Munro and easy to drive to,

Preciously, have done ben lomond and ben arthur and the cobbler as day walks.

Many thanks

Probably any of the Arrochar hills would suffice? Ben Vorlich, Ben Vane etc...

If you are staying in Glasgow then make the most and go a little further to Glencoe or something. Only an extra hour of your time each way unless the weather is foul then Narnain or Ime are always useful to just get out.

Good good. Will look up how toget there

Glen Coe is just that little bit far away....and have spent plenty of time just there!

You wouldn't know of a circular walk with some of them in by any chance? Asking before I trawl google
In reply to aujayeb:

Check out Steve Fallon's website - http://www.stevenfallon.co.uk/ - he has lots of routes over groups of Munros.

an caisteal and beinn a chroin is a nice wee loop although the return path through the glen is probably 90% liquid at the moment.
In reply to aujayeb: A fair few UKH Route Cards would fit the bill: http://www.ukhillwalking.com/logbook/r/find.php

Ben More/Stob Binnein maybe

In reply to aujayeb: check out the walk highlands site too...

Does it have to be a munro? Ben ledi is easily accessible and a great view point
In reply to nickyrannoch: the return path was quite a mire a couple of weeks back but the hills are lovely, to the OP a bit further and Meall nan Tarmachan and the Ptarmigan ridge makes a wonderful round, or the Lawers group is next door

Beinn Narnain and Beinn Ime are a nice circuit. You can start from the Cobbler track and spin off up Beinn Narnain. Or do Beinn Ime and Ben Vane together.

Cheers,
Fiona
