Related to the other Munro topic thread, what's the highest number of consecutive ascents you've made of a Munro without getting a view? If I remember rightly, a pal of mine had to climb A'Mhaighdean four times before he got a view from the top. (I was lucky enough to get it at the first time of asking!)

My records aren’t complete enough to give a def answer but I’ve been on Sgurr Gaoch 3 times and Ben   Dorain at least four without ever having a view. Aonach Eagach and the Buchaille a couple of dozen times each, views perhaps a third of the time? ( my excuse for those is that you go to those ones anyway in poor weather, just for the rock & snow & ice!)

Did the Aonach Eagach in cloudy drizzle last year in both "summer" and "winter", so I'm with you there. 

I got a view my 6th time on MacDui

I've been up the Ben countless times - and hardly ever gotten a view.

Impressively bad luck! Got a view from that one my second and third times up there.
