Announced on news this morning. From 2015 S&R 'services' will be provided by an American company, Bristow(?).

Farewell to a great institution and paving the way for charging for rescues in years to come?

BMC memebership to have tiers of cover?

No need to worry about charging for rescues. It's all about the safety of the aircraft.
