Off to Yosemite in May and need to get a move on with the plannig. Can anyone recommend  good hiking map (Paper) or a downloadable map. 

I got the National Geographic, Trails Illustrated map when I was in the Valley which served me well

I used to free one you get with a 7 day pass. Between that and climbing guide books we were fine. 

I’ve got a set of the Harrison maps for the John Muir Trail which include a couple of sheets in Yosemite. Happy for you to borrow them, drop me a message. 

We bought a guide book that desccribed most of the trails. I over researched the nav side because the trailheads are really well marked unless you're going off piste and way out there. Give me a shout if you want any trail feedback. Tuolumne was my prefered half of our trip, the North dome via Indian rock was a personal favourite.
