Anyone interested in doing 1-2 weeks climbing in Morocco around the Christmas break? (Dec 22-Jan 6th) Ideally looking for a partner in the 5c-6c range. Would also be cool to do some hiking in the Atlas during this period if you want to mix it up.

Be aware that it can be very cold at that time of year. Might be ok on the faces outside of the gorge itself but even then not much fun if the wind comes up. We were there Jan 2013 only saw one party climbing in the gorge, we had a few nice days on the surrounding crags but a couple of bitterly cold days was enough to persuade us further south, Tafroute was warm and pleasant.

True, it can get fairly cold in Todra over Christmas. Some years it will be far too cold to climb there until late Feb... other years it will be fine. Bear in mind, however, that Tafraout is only a day's drive away, and can be easily combined in the same trip. We've found that a 10 day trip works well for this, either via Agadir, or by renting a car in Marrakech and dropping it off in Agadir. Tafraout is usually a bit warmer at that time of year.
