I've been happily using Anquet V1.2 on a Windows 7 laptop for creating routes and loading them onto my Garmin Etrex H GPS. Unfortunately that laptop blew up and I've ended up with Windows 10. I've managed to install the driver for a Prolific USB to serial adapter without it showing any errors in Device Manager, as I did on Windows 7. I can connect to the GPS from the laptop using a programme called GPSU. However, Anquet just times out when it tries to query the GPS. I've checked it is using the correct COM port. I've tried all sorts of compatibility settings for the Anquet exe. Does anyone have any further suggestions I could try please? Seems weird that it works in one program but not another.
