That moonbow photo is one of the coolest i've ever seen.

I've seen the Aurora once, having popped out of Black Shiver Pot on the side of Ingelborough one November.  It was my first SRT caving trip, great way to end a nights caving.

Despite all of the colourful pics there was just a faint while flickering to be seen in Skye. The photos make it look much better than it was.

Yes - it was visible to the naked eye here (Inverness) but it was definitely better with a camera.
