I prefer educational things about life, science, history, religion and culture, but I'm open to offers.

I'll start with a few:

The BBC's In Our Time - the only education you'll ever need

Our Fake History - historical myth busting, very well referenced and presented.

This American Life - left leaning dissection of US life & politics today

Mostly quite climbing geeky but the Enormocast is good fun, and has a HUGE back catalogue https://enormocast.com.  Don't forget Grimer's Jamcrack too http://www.niallgrimes.com/jam-crack-podcast/.
