Hello, I'm trying to find a big rope swing to do in north wales. Not fussy about the format, can be a bridge swing or another way, e.g. Off a line tensioned across a gap.

The Menai one is great but the location of it doesn't work for what I have planned so I'm hoping there are others about. Is therte one in the slate quarries?

Apologies if this seems like a repeat thread. I realise there are multiple old threads on here about bridge swings etc but I've not seen one covering this specific question. I.e. They are focused on bridge swinging rather than any form of swinging ona rope and are about other locations.

if anyone's got any really good ones elsewhere in the country then please do pipe up!

Cheers for any help

In reply to bigie bob:

You could rig a highline rope swing over the big hole in the Dinorwig quarries (Hodge Close in the Lakes should be a good one too). Make sure you know what you're doing though - here's a good video showing the Rostrum rope swing rig in Yosemite:  youtube.com/watch?v=lbCsN6V8DAw&

Have fun and keep me in the loop!
