I have just bought a new car, but the insurance company won't accept my no claims bonus from my previous car, because I've not had a car since 2012. But I've had a campervan for about 8 years. So they want £800 to insure the car. Does anyone know of companies which do multi vehicle insurance for a motorhome and a car? Thanks

I think if you ring round (or get a broker) you will find some companies will take your no claims from the motorhome.  It’s discretionary I think.  

When I insured my new (as in old van but newly purchased) campervan 2 years ago, they accepted my no claims from my car insurance. My car was insured with Toyota but I got the camper insured through Adrian Flux , I think Zenith Marque is the company they used.

Don't know if this is any use to you, the two vehicles are still insured separately but on full no claims bonus. Good luck.

We got campervan insurance with Safeguard. They mirrored the no claims on our car.
