A couple of weeks ago, but we travelled at what ought to have been a peak time: Good Friday in the middle of the day. Everything was fine. They'd put a contraflow in on the motorway so that all the queued freight was in the eastbound carriageway and there was two way traffic on the westbound carriageway. It was something like a 50mph speed limit but there was no stopping or congestion. From arriving at the queue for the gate into the Tunnel compound to boarding a train was 1.5 hours which is just about normal I think.
