Can anyone recommend a supplier of flowers seeds with a really wide range? I've had a good trawl and only come up with places selling the old familiars, and I'm looking to be able to get hold of some less well-known varieties so could do with more of a specialist.

Wanted to suggest https://londonseedcentre.co.uk/, but then found i was replying to Rog...

I've had a lot of luck finding esoterica on eBay. Usually crazy cheap and drops through the letterbox.

I was surprised when I clicked that link, Thomas. Just because I'm a child of the 60s doesn't mean you should jump to conclusions.

It was exactly the other way round... I was looking for a potential local supplier for a joke, and only then saw whom I was replying to... And thought that even those guys from the 60ies might abstain nowadays 😉

But perfectly fine if you wanted to go for some alternative agriculture today.

I do things the other way round.

I decide what I want then find a supplier. The RHS website is very good for selecting a suitable plant.

Here are a couple places I've used.

I've used Boston seeds for wildflowers and grass seed.

Thanks Eric. I have recently joined the RHS and have found the web site very useful. However, it only recommends a handful of sites selling seeds, and I haven't really found what I wanted yet. But thanks for the chiltern seeds tip.

We use moles seeds mainly for veg. They have a wide range of annual and perennial flower seeds too but not sure if they stock anything too out of the ordinary as they lean towards the commercial side of seed selling. Great company and great prices tho. Worth a look in any case.

The thing to do is to just copy the plant name and then paste it into Google with "seeds" added and you'll get a better range of suppliers.

https://wildseed.co.uk/. ie Emmorsgate seeds were often used for conservation scheme management agreements when recommending conservation mixes for specific locations.
