I have a PDF application document I need completing but it is all in German. It is to register for a German Tax ID and the tax office do not have an english version.

I have tried Google Docs translate but is proving fairly useless.

Any help would be appreciated, happy to cover your time.

Many Thanks, Ben

Strange, the German tax I.D number is automatically allocated when you are born or for foreigners when you register your place of residence.

If you are non-resident but earn income the tax office apply for you, you can't do this direct.

Vat/business is different and I could probably help!

If you need a pro to translate it I could put you on to someone, she will charge the going rate though so it depends how important the form is for you.

Send it to me if you want, can't promise anything but will give it a go to translate.

You really wouldn´t want to, it´s a 5 page nightmare written by the German Tax office! Fortunately my accountant/tax advisor knew where there´s an English translation already available which saved me a bit of time
