What a morning. Lots meadow pipits, 4 snipe, chiffchaffs and a fox. 
Ed: just then , watching pied wagtails, three got up and flew towards me - odd - followed by male Sparrowhawk 3 feet off the ground, twisting chase, all escaped. Buzzard now mewing.
