GPS Screen lock - Nexus 7

When I bring up a map on my Nexus 7 and the GPS position indicator shows I can't seem to lock it to keep the indicator centre screen. Anyone help please?

ie when you move... the GPS location icon moves off the screen rather than the map scrolling as you move?

which mapping software? google maps or something else?

As far as I'm aware, it's not possible to get it to operate the way that you indicate... Maybe email Memory-Map technical support about it?
