As oer the title. I went last year and was not really impressed, has anyone been yet and has it got any better. Got a free day this weekend and wondering if a trip there is worth it.

I went for the first time 2 years ago, but only because I won a climbing masterclass with gaz parry (nice bloke!)
I went last year to get some cheap stuff from the DMM stall and to get some lessons in ropework that DMM were running.
Don't think I will bother this year as most of the show is actually quite boring, DMM aren't running a training classes, I don't need any new shiny stuff.

Went last year. Expensive to get in, then not a lot of interest. Overall I found it boring apart from climbing the polystyrene "ice tower".

Things like the wine and beer tasting from various parts of the world are an expensive con - cheaper to go to the supermarket!

There was a lightweight tent which interested me, but they only had one - erected, so I wasn't able to judge it's packed size and weight.

I'd rather browse round a good outdoor shop for free.
