The owl looks completely pissed off. It obviously doesn't give two hoots about all the time and effort given to get it out.

In a statement, the owl thanked all its rescuers and said "I was drinking a bit last night and don't know how I ended up down the well, I've got a bad head and feel a right twit too"

It would have come out a lot quicker if they'd chucked in a lit match after filling the well full of oxygen!
