I have a suspicion that the search facility in photo galleries is broken . Just searched 'Bow Wall' and it came up with 6256 pics. Surely there can't be that many? Think it might be searching using just 'wall' as a criterion. Any ideas?

Try putting inverted commas around bow wall.

i.e. "bow wall"

If I hit the arrow button on my keyboard whilst looking at photos in the gallery view it now moves to the next route rather than next photo, which is not what it used to do. I think it is broken!

Nope. Just tried it and I still get 6256 pics coming up.  Haven't tried the inverted commas thing but you didn't used to have to do that anyway. Also this thread doesn't show up every time I look. Odd.

. . . and odder. Single inverted commas don't work, double ones do!

This is how Google search works.

Bow Wall = results with Bow or Wall

"Bow Wall" = results with Bow Wall

"Bow Wall" -Crack = results with Bow Wall and not Crack
