I have a HP consumer level printer from which I occasionally print photographs for myself and to give to friends. I chose HP because the heads are in the cartridge and I thought that would reduce problems with blockages. I originally bought genuine HP stuff but when I used it less often I found that they dried out so I switched to cheaper - re-manufactured ones. This has not been a success, I get lines and fades plus the printer keeps telling me they are counterfeit.
Can anyone recommend a good supplier of HP replacements or do I just need to accept the extra cost of originals and manage them better?
