Hey, I have this clicking sound in my shoulder that started years ago, probably due to being a plasterer. I'm at uni now and it's been a few years since plastering, but still hurts and clicks. The only thing I can think is that the humeral head is popping out of the glenoid each time my arm rotates a certain way.

Does anyone else have any experience of this? If so, what did you do?

Don't risk anything. Go to a doctor now and get a professional opinion. I am currently in a sling because I 'manned up' for a few years, whilst inadvertently doing significant damage.

In reply to HenryC: Definitely get it checked out a.s.a.p. for pro advice. I had shoulder pain from climbing, and it can develop into impingement - I was in pain for 9 months and for 3 of those couldn't scrub my back in the shower or put books on shelves, let alone climb! Good luck and hope you can progress!
