Genuine puzzlement here; at 9pm last Friday on Channel 4+1, in London, there was an SNP Party Political Broadcast. As far as I know, the SNP aren't putting up any candidates outside of Scotland, not even in Corby. Was it a technical glitch? I noticed that it just launched straight in; no "there now follows a broadcast on behalf of..." which you always get; and no "that was a broadcast on behalf of.." at the end, both of which are odd. Were they just hoping to catch some voters for Scottish constituencies who are in a different TV area? Maybe. Seems a bit untargeted though. Ideas?

They plan to declare independence and annex London. This is intended to placate those "remainers" who see it as the historic capital of Scotland

They seem to, I'm guessing for the purposes of advertising. Whether party political broadcasts go via the same route is unclear.

Some interesting overlaps on that map. Scotland get's the lakes while Northumberland gets Roxburghshire.
