Some people I know from Hathersage have had their Landrover stolen from outside their house on The Dale (the road going from Hathersage up to Stanage. This happened last night between 11.15 and 12.30.

Green Landrover Defender reg 989EFU if any one spots anything suspicious?

There have been quite a few cars stolen overnight over the last few months so I'd be even more careful keeping keys out of sight.

In reply to elephant0907: Post (up some pictures) on the Land Rover forums, they usually have a keen eye out for stolen vehicles and they're usually watching ebay for parts.

It will have been in a shipping container b4 they even got out of bed in the morning..

My mate had his Rangerover nicked a while back.. Thats what the police told him. It was prob an organised gang working in the area, they nick em then there away abroad in containers b4 the owners even know there gone..

In reply to pauldr: Yes, in most cases that is very true. Fitting a VHF tracker is the only way to stand any chance of getting it back if it disappears
