Heard about this a few days ago on Twitter. There seemed to be a lot of conflicting information about what happened but this article from Vice explains it well:

"donk_enby had originally intended to grab data only from the day of the Capitol takeover, but found that the poor construction and security of Parler allowed her to capture, essentially, the entire website. That ended up being 56.7 terabytes of data, which included every public post on Parler, 412 million files in all—including 150 million photos and more than 1 million videos."

Yes there was a lot of talk originally about bulk creation of admin level accounts and such. Turns out they just made all the data freely available and someone scraped it.

The real kicker for Parler is that:

- they've been booted from AWS

- they have to pay AWS for all the data that was scraped. It runs into terabytes.

Wow.

“including 150 million photos and more than 1 million videos. Each of these had embedded metadata like date, time and GPS coordinates” That could keep law enforcement busy for a few months.

It gets better...

Trump accidentally shafted his own rioters, when he went after the other side.

The protesters are liable to be punished with up to 10 years in prison for “injury of federal property," under the executive order signed by President Donald Trump during the Black Lives Matter anti-racism protests in July 2020.
