Is it right?

The reportage of the two recent cases suggests that some criminals have the right and others do not: however is there a moral distinction between the right to be forgotten for a criminal offence and say, like the girlfriend of the UKIP leader causing offence and where do we draw the line?

Is the balance better struck in maintaining historical and accurate records rather than seeking to repair the reputation of a few? I think that the answer should be yes.

The right shouldn't exist.  Old papers and articles shouldn't be hidden.

Two, maybe three generations and most of us will all be forgotten whether we like it or not.
