I know someone else posted this somewhere but I think it got lost in other stuff.
If you are finishing work do not start your universal credit claim until the day after you receive any back pay.
The way it works means the clock starts on the day you claim and any money you receive after that will delay your payments so you wont get a payment for 9 weeks instead of 5 weeks.
