What a game - watching it with a Villa supporter, in Birmingham as well.

Bloody hell, the last 4 minutes seemed to pass in geological time.

Bradford - a team that cost £7,500 with a goal scored by a bloke who worked in Guiseley Coop

In reply to John Rushby: well done Bratfud - another thriller. I'll text you about wemberley tickets!
In reply to John Rushby:
They don't make 'em like this very often ! What a result.....Surely Bent will leave before the window closes ?

In reply to andy:

Cheers mate - I will of course see you right in bottles of malt
 Tall Clare 22 Jan 2013
In reply to John Rushby:

Good work. I'm off to ask Mr TC if he feels a sudden rush of pride at being from Bratfud. I'll have to choose to ignore the fact that he doesn't know one side of a football from the other...

In reply to John Rushby:

The real footballing story tonight is all about The Mighty Cobblers rising to a heady third place in League Two - and I live within the Bradford Metropolitan Council boundaries.
 Haighy 22 Jan 2013
In reply to John Rushby:

He used to work in the CO-OP! Work in the CO-OP!

So proud of them all! Was the longest last 20 minutes I've experienced.

Que sera sera! Whatever will be will be, we're going to wemberllyyy!

In reply to John Rushby:
When they got that second goal I had flashbacks to my visit to villa park in 1994.

Same stage in same comp, same first leg score, different outcome

Always great to see the underdogs win, good luck in the final

In reply to John Rushby:

The new sponsors (Capital One?) must be really pleased with their canny investment.

In reply to John Rushby:
Fantastic result! What a great listen on 5live. Bradfud deserve it, Villa froze on the night!
 winhill 22 Jan 2013
In reply to John Rushby:

This will put hopefully Bradford on the map and out of the shadow of Manchester.
 John Ww 22 Jan 2013
In reply to winhill:

Yeah, right!
Tony the Blade 22 Jan 2013
In reply to John Rushby:

In a neutral match I generally want the underdogs to win. However, I'll not hold a grudge tonight and I'll congratulate Bradford City!
 Steve Perry 22 Jan 2013
In reply to John Rushby: Watched the second half in the pub, well done Bradford!
OP Rubbishy 23 Jan 2013
In reply to John Rushby:

and to cap it all, my mate Andy and his lad Jake are in the Mail.

Knowing what that little lad has been through over the last few years it's great to see him at VP. He was mascot for the home game.

In reply to haworthjim:

Aye. I'm still in shock.

I note the photos of Jake were taken by UKC's very own snapper, in the Dog and Gun in Wibsey. I'll buy his dad a pint tomorrow to celebrate.

In reply to John Rushby: A good result, good luck to Bradford in the final.

In reply to Al Evans: It's looking like Swansea.. Chelsea down to ten men.. Hazard off for kicking a ballboy..
 london_huddy 23 Jan 2013
In reply to IainRUK:

Looked like assault to me!
Astonishing. Kid was being a pillock for not giving up the ball but didnt deserve a boot in the ribs. Hazard had to be sent off, can't really see any other result from kicking a kid.

In reply to hindu: Not seen it.. just watching BBC updates.. but a mate just emailed and said while the kid made a meal of it he was kicked..

Could be a big ban...
 london_huddy 23 Jan 2013
In reply to IainRUK:

I agree with your mate but however you cut it, it looked more like a Saturday night in Carlisle than football.
 london_huddy 23 Jan 2013
In reply to hindu:
Should say, great performance from Swansea. Huge work rate, solid tactics and more hard work.
 DANNYdjb 23 Jan 2013
In reply to John Rushby:
BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Football wants banning along with golf.
The only other thing that chases a ball is a dog.
So go fetch.______________________O.

In reply to IainRUK: Shows you how far the game's fallen when even the ball boys are cheating bastards...

 haworthjim 24 Jan 2013
In reply to DANNYdjb: Why have you opened and read the thread? Bell.
 haworthjim 24 Jan 2013
In reply to haworthjim: End.
Shame Swansea result was overshadowed by ballboy kicking. It would have been interesting if the lad had punched Hazard in retaliation.
Hotel booked- common CITD
