England, Belgium, Tunisia and Panama.

About as good a draw as could have been hoped for?

Iceland will play Argentina, and I've just heard on the radio that it promises to be the 'Hand of Cod' game

You've failed the Syd test, mind.

No obvious Group of Death this time. Group D, maybe?

The type of group that allows an inflated level of confidence to develop in the English press.

I look forward to the resulting implosion

Well I haven't been picked for Adelaide, but there's still time to be picked for Sydney in January if a few of the other lads underperform.

They'll still f*ck it up somehow.

Yes except for Belgium and we’re having trouble agreeing with ourselves.

Ach we don’t bother anymore as it’s just as much fun watching England fail. Plus who wants to go to Russia?

Doesn’t even seem to get to penalties anymore ... which is disappointing ... I miss the Waddle, Pearce, Southgate, Batty, Beckham (did I miss anybody?) days.

Seems a good time for a little reminiscence

I'll give you that one. Bloody ball moved- still annoys me! And of course Seaman couldn't keep his legs shut in the Holland game. Pure class by Gazza though.

That was a good tournament 96, even your song was catchy, annoyingly catchy.

Never could understand what Uri Geller had against the Scots!

In reply to john arran:

I think Belgium could be a tough match. De bruyne, hazard, lukaku all very good players- Belgium are potential winners I think

But the other two shouldn’t really trouble England , so they should get out of the group whatever the Belgium result

Belguim will slaughter England.
England will come back and scrape a victory (own goal or the like) against one of the other two.
E, full of confidence, expecting to go through, will just put out yet another limp dicked performance and go home.

Shame Wales didn't qualify, men with balls!

You clearly haven’t seen the schedule. By the tine we play Belgium, we will have already qualified and so it will be a gimme

England haven't even got a hope on the hooligan front. The Ultras are training in military camps already whilst boozy George the Cockney is fattening up and learning a new song.
