I realise that there is often a blip in the sales of 2nd hand winter kit come the spring but this year there seems to be more than usual.
Are people losing faith that conditions will be good again and thinking, "I've had this expensive tat knocking around for a few years but it's never cold enough when I can climb so I may as well give in to global warming as swap it for a dinghy?"
The flipside is that there are no shortage of takers amongst the "still to be disillusioned"!
Is this a sign of warmer things to come?
