There is an alternative phonetic alphabet which begins thus:

A for 'orses

B for lamb

C for th'Highlanders

Trying to think of some more I came up with these:

D for Kate

L for leather

Y for runts

Any more suggestions?

A lighter level of rain made me feel pleased yesterday, on my cycle it went from torrential to a drizzle, and I got some daylight and endorphins into the bargain....small mercies.
