I use Youtube for a lot of excellent content relating to think such as: guitar playing and maintenance, rock climbing, Indian housewives knocking up curries, music etc. I do however have some viewing delights I would not normally admit to in public...
For instance, Auditing Britain features a guy that goes around filming police stations and prisons etc.

I was at my mums the other day and her other half had the Auditing Britain guy on, he spent over an hour taking up the time of 3 firearms officers in London because the stopped to ask why he was filming a police station. It was quite an interesting exchange between them, but if I were the coppers commanding officer I'd be giving him a hard time for wasting police time...
I have indulged in the TV License visit videos in times gone by.

I've seen this guy.....he isn't actually 'auditing' anything.....he just seems to spend time irritating people and flying his drone over their factories, businesses etc.....
I enjoy a few of the travel type blogs people do....as well aswel as the usual outdoor/hills/climbing stuff...

I seem to have become addicted to this guys gun channel. I've no real massive interest in guns* but I do enjoy his little lectures on the mechanics and development history of the featured firearms. He amusingly gets called Gun Jesus by his viewers. Something he's happy to play along with.
*I did have an air rifle when I was a kid.

Yup, one of my standbyes when the wife watches some drab Scandinavian crimi. As an engineer it's fascinating to see how incredibly complex machines can be developed to deliver under the restraints of usability, given to an idiot, thrown in a muddy puddle for a week then expected to kill people a kilometer away.
From muzzle loading to 6000 rounds a minute is a fair step.

At least judging from the video you linked. I did a lot of skipping at the start and still only make it to 4 minutes where he seems to basically be trying to pick a fight with the police for no reason before I got too bored to continue. I found it to be the opposite of compelling viewing, but I guess that is what differing tastes are all about.
And god yes do I watch a lot of garbage on youtube but I'm not about to admit to what it is on UKC!

I watch a lot of Swedwoods, which is footage of a Swedish bloke going camping. He never talks, just walks, canoes, camps and cooks, and films it beautifully
I'm always watching Storror to and have been for some time. It can occasionally be a little cringe but it's always hugely impressive and they're great athletes to watch.

AH YES! A lot of these have been appearing on my youtube feed and I find myself getting drawn into them. I find the subject really interesting
They tend to fall into two camps though: Obnoxious tw*ts who shove a camera in someone's face and seem intent on provoking and getting a reaction just for the views, and the other ones who are polite, courteous and have seem to genuinely want to protect the rights of street photographers, drone pilots, public access and to educate people on their rights, and also about how to remind over zealous security guards that a hi-viz vest and an SIA badge doesn't suddenly equate you to a police officer
I've watched a couple from Auditing Britain, but I particularly like DJ Audit (and it's because of his that I'm itching to buy a bloody drone...)

I like timelapse videos of lake effect snowfall. The way the objects on the ground gradually dissolve into a uniform layer is mesmerising. Especially over several days where there’s a diurnal heave/ho to it all.

My favourite thing on YouTube at the moment is Vagrant Holiday.
It’s an American chap with a great, dry sense of humour who flies to cities around the world, stealth camps in cities, travels around and does alternative point of view travel logs with commentary.

I've been following that too but it's dropped off my recent recommendations so I've lost track. It's a fantastic looking car with the work he's done to it. I can't help but fear the four figure power target is a bit American when considering drivability and gearbox survival.
The Alfa-Ferrari project on Home Built By Jeff is worth a look, getting close to finished now.
Allan Milliard's channel is well worth a look if you want to be convinced it's easy to build Frankenstein's engine in a garden shed with not much more than a hacksaw, TIG and an encyclopedia of 80s bike parts for a brain.

One personal favourite is “M539 restorations”
A euro dude called Sreten who restores neglected BMW’s. The saga with the Alpina B7 was fascinating and must have been incredibly frustrating and heart wrenching for him to go through! (Big problem with the supercharged V8…)
He comes across as an entertaining and personable chap and also his attention to detail and cleanliness does something for my OCD!

I was working for Games Workshop when 40K was first mooted. I played the first handwritten version, worked on its early development and a few of my paintjobs appear in 1st, 2nd and 3rd editions. The money I made working for them while at school greatly increased my success with the ladies. It is pure fempoison these days though.

Ha! Touché! I was in primary school when I played with them so a bit early to spoil any romance. I used to paint them but OMG I was bad at it. After a year or two of collecting I'd accumulated about 20 models, all second hand and not even in the same army. I think at this point I realised my new hobby was a bit on the expensive side and sold my puny collection.
To this day I can't walk past a Games Workshop without staring at the window display for 5 minutes.
