Any idea why the "ripple delete" function works some of the time but not other times? I assume that it has something to do with a prior action but can't work out what that is.

Do you have an audio track that's blocking the ripple delete?

Yes. But I didn't think the audio did block it?

Ok, thanks for that. I just pulled the audio and the ripple delete now works. I hadn't noticed an audio having that affect before.

I should have added that if there is an audio track blocking the edit then "lock" it and you should then be able to ripple edit, though your audio would then be out of sync to your edit.
