Right... so this has probably been answered already, but I have searched the forums and can't immediately find an answer.

I'm hoping to find one bag which does it all. I can use it as a sling bag with quick access side opening for a DX-sized DSLR, plus a spare lens, plus maybe a flash, spare battery and a couple of smaller accessories. Also an external tripod attachment. It then can be used as my bouldering bag so I can take a pair of shoes, chalk bucket, small water bottle and guidebook, plus all the camera equipment, and carry it inside my pad (i.e. not too fat).

I'm looking for a camera bag with two separate sections to keep the chalk away from the camera, but one which has more space devoted to carrying other things, as my camera is smaller than my climbing kit. Most camera bags I see which have a top section for other stuff, generally that other pocket isn't big enough.

Any recommendations?

Hi, I use one of these https://www.bananafingers.co.uk/metolius-gym-bag-p-3592.html

I'm sure it doesn't meet all your requirements, but it works for me. I tie my chalk bag to the outside, I'm not convinced any inner compartment would hold the dust.

It fits my dslr, few lenses, flashes, small tripod and boots etc, so big enough for fair bit of gear.

I just wear it over my shoulder with my mat on my back. Ta

I used to have one of those bags, but never got on with it for climbing. Never thought about that concept as a (predominantly) camera bag.

Any other suggestions anyone?

This should do: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-Gadget-Messenger-Orange-Interior/dp/B...

Much smaller than those pads, so should be brilliant
