Simple RAW converter?

I'm looking for an alternative to Lightroom as a RAW converter. Ideally it will be free, quick and simple to use, no need for cataloging etc.

I've looked at, and am considering Darktable or Raw Therapy, but was wondering if there was something that will perform the basics in a lighter, less-featured package?

Thanks

Glyn

Have you investigated what's available from the maker of your camera?

Good point. I have a 5 year old Fuji X100s, I'll have a look on the Fuji site.

I've recently started using Capture One Express (Sony version) with my old Sony NEX, and I'm getting much better results than with Lightroom.

They do a free Fuji version too.

THere are video tutorials available, but also a Q quick develop option.

Fuji used to support SilkyPix Converter, which was particularly bad (slow and bad UI). Nowadays, they have partnered with Capture One, so there is a free version of that (C1 Express) for Fuji cameras including your X100S.

EDIT: oops, IPP got there first

I use RawTherapee 5.7 and import straight into GIMP 2.10, works a treat.

Open source FTW.
