Hey all, can any codec geeks explain to me why when I watch a youtube video in 4K the quality is STUNNING and crystal clear, but when I upload my H.264 movies to YT with bitrates of about 66mbps I get really bad compression on movement and low light shots.

It doesn't seem to happen when I do a direct upload without editing from my GoPro. I normally use VideoPad, is their codec not agreeable with YT or am I missing something? The edited movies look fine on my PC but have noticeable artefacts on YT. Very frustrating, especially when watching on a smart TV.
