Big Rock are pleased to announce the expansion of our climbing offering in Milton Keynes with the opening of Big Rock Bond in Bletchley on Sunday 20th May 2018.
Since we first opened in Milton Keynes in 2010, the original Big Rock experience at Big Rock Hub in Kingston has gained a reputation for quality climbing and community spirit. Our users are aged 4-80+ and our climbing is designed to cater for all levels, from first experience to elite performance.
We have always operated with the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy climbing regardless of age or ability, and like Hub, Big Rock Bond is designed around this premise, offering an environment that makes climbing motivating and fun for all our users.
Since the conception of a second site in the area, our mission has been to provide Milton Keynes with one of the UK’s best indoor climbing experiences, offering the very latest in climbing wall design alongside extensive training facilities to cater for more advanced conditioning – including the addition of adjustable training boards, a Moon Board and a Lattice Board.
A Walltopia construction, the new Bond centre incorporates the company’s famed design aesthetic with combinations of flat panels, curves and sharp angles built to create a wow factor aimed at inspiring you to climb. The centre also features a substantial bouldering competition wall designed by award winning architect Michelle Wardle of Tectonica Design Lab.
Big Rock Hub in Kingston remains in full service, with Big Rock Bond designed to complement and expand the range of climbing facilities currently on offer in Milton Keynes. We’d like to thank our users for all their support over the years and we hope that they will continue to enjoy climbing at both Big Rock sites well into the future.
