Aged 7-17 years and love climbing? Enter the fun and friendly top-rope and bouldering Youth Climbing Competition on Friday 15th November at Big Rock Climbing Centre in Milton Keynes!

It doesn't matter whether you've been climbing for ages or have just started out. Everyone is welcome and taking part is a great opportunity to gain inspiration from other climbers, hook up with new friends and enjoy climbing in a mega sociable atmosphere.

Competition Summary
Friday 15th November 2013
Sign in and regular briefing: 3:00pm - 6:15pm
Climbing: from 3:15pm - 8:30pm following your sign in and briefing
Entry Fee £8.00 per person

A Team Trophy is also available for teams of 3 or more competitors. Competitors will enter as individuals but can also register themselves as being from a specific group (e.g. scout, youth group or school) to qualify for the Team Trophy. A minimum of 3 competitors are required to make up a team and the top 3 placing competitors will be used to determine the overall team position.

Age Categories
Five categories, with separate girls and boys competitions, following the IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing) system based on year of birth. All entrants must have some climbing experience.

Youth A - born in 1996 & 1997
Youth B - born in 1998 & 1999
Youth C - born in 2000 & 2001
Youth D - born in 2002 & 2003
Youth E - born in 2004 & 2005
Junior - born in 2006 & after

Equipment
Climbing shoes can be hired on the day for £2.50 on a first come first served basis.
Harnesses and helmets will be provided free of charge.
