During a quick 8 day trip to Senja Island on the North West coast of Norway last winter, Grivel athlete Greg Boswell and Jeff Mercier went on a new routing rampage. As the Island is situated above the Arctic Circle it is home to many big ice and mixed climbs, lots of which are still unclimbed.
The pair managed to climb 7 new routes in the 8 days, 3 of which were on unclimbed mountain faces and all were home to some of them most breathtaking views of the Norwegian fjords and Northern Lights.
