When most people think of the Costa Blanca they think of sun, cheap flights and bolt routes in the winter. Adrian Bates, who has been climbing in the area for years and documenting it on his web site -
http://www.geocities.com/costablancaclimbing was surprised to discover a little-known via ferrata route on one of the forgotten peaks of the area - El Cid above Elda. In this short article Adrian tells of his ascent of the route in the autumn of 2004.
