DMM are looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to be based in Llanberis, North Wales. The DMM Group consists of a number of manufacturing & distribution companies all operating from our lakeside facilities in Llanberis.
In this role you will be responsible for all group reporting from a financial & statutory perspective as well as all of the group budgeting, financial planning & analysis functions.
Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the successful candidate will, ideally, be an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant with relevant PQE, in a Financial Controller role, and will be able to demonstrate a track record in producing fully consolidated group accounts & group budgets in a complex manufacturing & distribution environment.
Extremely strong technical skills are required, as is the ability to quickly forge strong working relationships.
We operate a fully integrated ERP system, SYSPRO, and whilst experience of this software is desirable, it is not essential, you should have worked with a comparable ERP system such as Microsoft AX, Epicor, EFACS, or SAP. A thorough understanding of standard costing and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment is essential, as is a good working knowledge of SQL and report writing using either MS SQL Reporting Services or Crystal Reports. An understanding of modern business intelligence software is also desirable.
Experience as a Finance Business Partner, whilst not essential, will stand you in good stead as one of your primary objectives will be to provide active, ‘real time’, support & analysis across the business at both an operational and management level.
