Overview

The Flashpoint Group is currently made up of multiple companies across Bristol and Swindon. The site in Swindon consists of Freedog (a Trampoline Park), Clip’n Climb (a fun, kids focused climbing activity) and Flashpoint (a world class bouldering wall).

We finished off the majority of the works in late 2019 and had a very promising start to 2020. With each area developing into a popular activity. Then lockdown came along and stalled progress until late July when we re-opened. It has been a big change and we have put in place systems to make sure our customers and staff are safe and supported. Our sessions are starting to fill up and along side all the schemes from the government we are confident of a positive 2021.

So we are looking to pick up where we left off and bring in someone to help us develop new sessions and really put their mark on our community. The role will initially be to settle into our current system. You will be trained up in all our current activities so that you know the centre backwards. You will understand and be capable of monitoring the trampolines, running Clip’nClimb sessions, Flashpoint Tasters, cover reception and duty management. You will be expected to cover some regular Duty Manager and other customer facing shifts going forward alongside your work developing the team and the coaching program.

Once that base level training is completed you will work closely with the Centre Manager (Lisa) and the Operations Director (Jack, who has 20+ years experience in coaching at all levels including running CWI, CWDI and Coaching Awards) to develop a full coaching program in the bouldering wall. One of our Bristol sites (Redpoint) runs a huge kids and adults program which has played a massive role in developing the community and success of the company. This is your chance to get a deeper understanding of how to develop, run, market and maintain a large coaching program and really put your mark on the local area and the industry.
