Marketing Manager - Summit Up Climbing Centre, Oldham.
Summit Up climbing centre opening in Oldham in August 2021 is set to become one of the most exciting facilities of its kind.
Featuring the largest Clip ’n Climb in the north of England, bouldering, roped climbing, ValoClimb, soft play and cafe it will aim to provide a fantastic experience for people of all ages and abilities.
We are looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our team as marketing manager to help spread the word.
Experience/ Desired Skills.
Experience of marketing in the climbing or leisure industry.
Excellent verbal, written and organisational skills.
Enjoy working as part of a team whilst being an enthusiastic self starter.
Have a portfolio of graphic design work.
Have experience of creating engaging social media content.
Demonstrate creative ways of generating footfall.
2+ years experience in a similar role.
Be confident at networking and sales.
Demonstrate a good knowledge of the climbing community.
Hold a marketing qualification.
Create engaging social media content whilst respecting the brand ethos.
Develop and implement marketing or advertising campaigns.
Identify and act upon industry trends.
Prepare marketing plans identifying strategies and outcomes.
Update content on the Summit Up website.
Design leaflets and posters.
Write newsletter emails.
Work with press and other agencies to create a unified message.
Create and edit photos and videos.
Pursue sales in key areas.
Hours and Location.
The position will be three or possibly four days a week for the right candidate and based at Summit Up climbing centre Oldham with some potential for remote work.
£24,000-£27,000 pro rata dependent upon experience.
