After some pretty exciting expansion work during 2020 we are looking to expand our team. We have several new opportunities after splitting some existing positions into more than one post as the centre has grown considerably. With the Tokyo Olympic Games now only a few months away we are ready for the future.
Assistant Facilities Manager - The successful candidate will have a good background within the Indoor Climbing Centre industry, with some previous experience as at least a duty manager with wall maintenance and inspection. The Assistant Facilities Manager will hold an NGB Instructor qualification, which is essential. Route Setting skills would be welcome too.
Head Climbing Instructor - We are looking for someone to restart NICAS and NIBAS at our Primary Centre. We expect a high level of awards, including coaching qualifications, ideally at the Course Director level, to develop our squad and engage more people through instruction and coaching at pre-pandemic levels.
Catering Team - As the country opens up post-pandemic we are bringing 'social' back. Our established coffee shop is to be upgraded with a range of food and drink options, following the example of our European cousins, where pizza and beer are as important to your climb as your shoes and chalk bag.
Reception/Retail Team - If you have the people skills and experience working in the busy and dynamic environment of a climbing gym reception and shop then this could be for you. If you already know Rock Gym Pro and WooCommerce then that would be a great advantage.
All Positions are permanent, full time and have salaries that are in line with national rates, based on the level of experience.
